What is a hearing loop?

Sometimes referred to as an audio induction loop, it is a special sound system that assists the deaf or hard of hearing.

It provides a magnetic signal that is picked up by a compatible hearing aid to amplify the sound of someone talking.

Hearing and induction loop systems are able to cut out unwanted background noise as the sound goes directly into the hearing aid.
